These are the latter.
Sure, I've done a lot of different types of paid work. But that doesn't mean I'm all about the Benjamins. I also write articles, stories, and essays for myself—because it helps keep me sane. In addition to my personal writing, I manage a Medium publication called The Bigger Picture, write fiction, and used to write/produce YouTube videos with my brother and friends. Money is nice, sure, but it's not going to make me happy.

So, I wrote a book. It’s completely different from anything I’ve ever done. If this is what brought you to my website, that’s awesome. If this is your first time finding out about it and you think it’s cool, please do check it out on Amazon and order a copy of your own. I appreciate you.
The Bigger Picture is a Medium publication I have created with fellow writer and friend, Jenna Rutsky. We were both previously writing on our own, but we realized we have similar writing styles and usually cover similar topics. So, we've decided to combine our more introspective content into a collection of musings and stories to expand both of our audiences.
In our articles, we take topics that are easy to relate to, but we provide our own unique perspectives. The challenge in writing each piece is then taking that perspective and relating it back to our audience. This is why we describe our collection as Oddly specific. Universally applicable. We've begun working with other writers as well, so I try to publish content that is resonant, thoughtful, and/or downright hysterical.
I encourage you to see for yourself. It's wonderful.
My brother and I created In Case of Entertainment as a YouTube channel when I was in college and he was still in high school. We used it simply as an outlet for our creative video endeavors, mostly humorous sketches and spoofs. Some friends wanted to get involved, so we've been able to produce more quality content—for example, our mockumentary series Untold Stories.
We plan to continue our mockumentary-style series in the future, as well as pursue some more serious short films. Both my brother and I have developed full scripts for shorts, so we look forward to producing those and sharing them sometime soon.
Along with my friend Gret, I launched a weekly current events podcast that explored trending topics, political happenings, and social issues from a bipartisan lens. By dissecting stories from both sides, we hoped to pave the way for patient, respectful discussion—and we’re proud to have been a part of the bipartisan movement toward a more open-minded future.
