A solution-based approach to content

After an old Wyndham connection offered me a role at iQuanti, I led a small team of writers to an unprecedented level of productivity and success—first, on an internal financial resource project, then on high-priority client work. Not too shabby for starting a completely new team during a global pandemic.

UX copywriting

One of my main projects was an internal project: a site we launched to compete with popular personal finance tools. I led the copy efforts for all landing pages and functional aspects of our site, with a mobile-first mentality. To make sure we had the most concise, effective copy in place, I worked closely with our UX, development, engineering, and product design teams.

Content solutions & management

As a process-oriented leader, I created a content flow from scratch using a shared progress tracker. Our SEO team provided us topics based on target keywords, we wrote and edited, and then we passed the content along to production and development. Within a few weeks, every team involved in the project was following the process I’d implemented—and using my tracker.

Content strategy & editing

Blessed with a highly skilled team of writers, I was able to focus my energy on the strategy behind articles and break them down, section by section. It’s amazing how effective small structural edits can be when writing quality isn’t a major concern.

Search engine optimization & article writing

Using iQuanti’s proprietary tool (ALPS), I optimized my team’s content for search—so we could outperform the top-ranked competitors for specific keywords. Writing and editing toward target keywords, and then developing headlines and metadata around them, set us up for success in terms of SEO.
